Neuroscience tells us that simply spending time playing and giving babies hugs and cuddles, can heal children from the trauma of their past. Our volunteers are a critical part of our work as they add to the love and care that our babies get. They also help us to feed and bath the babies. But if you are not the ‘baby type’, we need help in all kinds of areas like organising fundraisers and becoming advocates of our work.
Volunteer Requirements:
All volunteers and learners must complete an application form (available on our website).
Adults (18+) need to submit a Sexual Offenders Affidavit (download from our site).
Learners under 18 will need to complete an Indemnity Form.
If you’re doing community service, please note that each learner must apply individually; group bookings are not accepted.
Visiting & Donation Guidelines
To ensure the safety and well-being of our babies and carers, we kindly ask visitors and donors to follow these guidelines:
All visits are fully supervised by our team.
Please contact us beforehand if you plan to visit or drop off donations.
If you are bringing donations, please refer to our updated needs list.
No photos are allowed without Jo’s permission, and no social media posting without approval.
If you are feeling ill or suspect you are coming down with something, please postpone your visit to protect the health of our babies and carers.
Community service bookings are only valid for the applicant; each learner must submit their own application.
Our babies depend on kindness from people like you. Whether you’re able to contribute financially, donate items, volunteer your time, or simply help spread the word, you become part of a family making a difference in the lives of children who need it most. There is space for anyone with a heart to get involved – no matter your area of gifting and passion.
Thank you for being part of our story. Together, we can give each child the care, hope, and love they deserve.
